Taking advantage of the fall break, we did manage to squeeze in one family day without too many chores. We headed down south to The Farm Tale at the North Hadley Sugar Shack. We frequently go there during sugaring season for yummy breakfast. We decided to check out their latest attraction – a farm area for the kiddos.
It looks great and it was fairly quiet when we headed there on a Monday morning. Just a few other families which was nice. It allowed Connor to run free instead of Mommy (that’s me) freaking out when I couldn’t keep him in my sights every second. They have really put a lot of effort into making a family friendly area that is clean and educational. The animals are well taken care of and the landscaping is lovely.
Beside the animals there were several play areas and miniature golf. Definitely a toddler sized course!
The price was a little high considering they charge for the adults too and we went during a marked down holiday weekend so it makes it more of a once a year event instead of more frequently.
Connor seemed to have a good time! One of the highlights was a great wooden train.
He is a serious train fanatic!
And Daddy loved the tractors!
