Connor took forever to crawl. He was very content to just sit there and play nicely with his toys. His sister….. she is a whole story altogether! Content will never be a word we use to describe her! She is moving and grooving all over the place. Basically it is still an army crawl. She can get up on all fours, but then flattens out to get across the floor.
Sometimes she does this funny thing with her left leg. She sort of sticks it up in the air and waves it around a bit.
She is a big fan of the wood pile next to the wood stove, particularly if there is a nice pile of sawdust and pieces of bark. It is bit messy around there and almost impossible to keep clean since it is February in New Hampshire and we almost completely rely on wood heat.
For Connor – this means she is after his toys constantly. He is doing a really good job at keeping is small rocks and cars away from her. Right now he thinks it is pretty cool that she will come after him into his bedroom, but I wonder how long that will last.
For Mama – this means I am mopping the floors constantly! But… you know, cleaner floors!
